The Patchwork Kitchen Garden: The Twenty-Second and Final Week

And just like that, all good things must come to an end.

Yes, today is the final Saturday for the weekly garden updates for 2023 and it was quite a journey. I still can’t believe that it has been 22 weeks since I started the garden this season and now it’s coming to an end.

We tried so many new things this growing season that have made me very proud of myself. From testing the waters with homegrown spuds to sowing our first ever crop of corn, it has been a wild ride. Sure we had some hiccups along the way, like my less than successful onion “harvest”. But that’s how we learn and I’ll just be a better gardener next season. It’s all a learning experience and we just have to grow from it.

Now as a reminder I am not fully closing the garden yet. I’m still waiting on a few more tomatoes and of course my fall harvests. But like I said, all that will be very minimal and I don’t want to bore you with not a lot of new information. So that’s why I’d like to end it here for the blog not to worry though you can check out my Instagram stories for the rest of the season to check out the garden.

I’m so glad all of you could join me on my gardening journey and until next season, Happy Gardening!
